Comfort

It's been several weeks since my last blog. So much has happened. I just didn't have the energy to write and simply felt uninspired. As the weather has become colder and life is at times a challenge, one wants comfort and warmth around them. We all know of comfort foods that make us feel better. What about feeling that same comfort as you walk into your home. That homemade throw that your mother knitted for you, worthless objects that are priceless to you, the picture that once hung in your grandparents home that now hangs in your own and shelves of books that you can't bear to give away. Our homes should bring us happiness and be filled with not only objects we find beautiful but that also mean something to us. A Hermes blanket may be deliciously chic and exquisitely made, but that hand knitted throw will keep you warmer.
